During this weeks episode:
1) All of the Pegs discuss some recent plays of Pathfinder: The Adventure Card Game, Bruges: The City on the Zwin and La Isla and discuss the economic strength of of board gaming industry (among other things).
2) Review Tasty Minstrel Game’s unique set collection game, Scoville.
3) And discuss the odd place that party games have within our hobby.
The aforementioned review derives from a copy of the reviewed game which was provided by the publisher, free of charge.
I wanted to say well done on the Eskimo brother comment. As a fellow “The League” fan, I thought it was well played. To bad no one else got the reference.
Been trying to get those frittatas to watch it for a while. Their loss.
You mentioned Rampage clips for the middle of the board, any ideas on where you can purchase one of those?
Oh I am sorry, I wasn’t clear enough. There is a game called Rampage (currently called Terror in Meeple City) that uses a similar modular board. (BTW- We reviewed Rampage in episode 19, http://bluepegpinkpeg.com/2014/03/24/episode-19-rampagegame-mechanics/). That board is held together with plastic clips, that come with the game. I was merely stating that I wish TMG would have used a similar device in Scoville, I have no idea where you could get the clips, outside of buying a copy of the game (an even then I am not sure that they would work for Scoville).
Thanks. I’ll try the putting it underneath 100 books for now, because, the constant earthquake is annoying. Thanks for responding.
